Cranstoun is launching a new substance service in Derby and is looking for a Data Lead to help embed high-quality, insight-driven practice from the start. This is a practical role combining analysis, operational oversight and staff support.
Job Responsibility:
Lead on data management, reporting, analysis and data quality across the service
Produce and interpret performance reports (including national returns such as NDTMS)
Maintain strong data quality and governance standards
Support the move from spreadsheets to Power BI reporting
Train staff and improve data literacy
Act as the link between service delivery and central data teams
Requirements:
Experience in a Data, Performance or Information role
Strong understanding of data quality and governance
Experience with case management systems and reporting tools (Power BI desirable)
Ability to explain data clearly to non-technical colleagues
Good organisational and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
Experience in health, social care, substance use or commissioned services
