Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data/Information Architect in Houston, Texas. You will be a part of a team that supports and builds the core enterprise data and machine learning platform. This role involves advising on best practice architectural patterns and balancing individual data analytics and machine learning use cases against overarching enterprise architecture principles.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advise on best practice architectural patterns for data analytics and machine learning use cases
  • Contribute to building and supporting the core enterprise data and machine learning platform
  • Craft architecture plans in line with the business strategy
  • Maintain a deep understanding of AI and modern data architectures and patterns
  • Implement software applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, preferably in AWS
  • Work with containerization technologies such as Docker or other similar technologies
  • Utilize modern SQL databases, data lakes, and warehouse architecture
  • Work with source control tools such as GitHub, Bit Bucket, etc.
  • Apply knowledge of Agile methodologies in the work process

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of detail-oriented experience with high proficiency in DevOps methodologies and tools
  • Extensive experience with Amazon Machine Learning
  • Expertise in designing and implementing machine learning architecture
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) practices
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Data Pipeline for data workflow automation
  • Proficient in using Amazon Web Services (AWS) for managing and deploying applications
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies
  • Strong coding skills in Python
  • Experience in using Docker for containerization of applications
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes for automating deployment, scaling, and management of applications
