Job Description:

The Data Governance Technology Lead is a senior-level position responsible for data governance implementation of Data Domains. Activities include identifying and documenting data lineage, critical data elements, authoritative data sources, and data quality rules. The role involves solving complex data governance challenges, offering technical solutions, and working with diverse stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs
manage complex, high-volume data governance implementation efforts in partnership with business partners and stakeholders
manage complex application and critical data element-level lineage across geographies and products
contribute to formulation of strategies/processes to implement Data Domain and Governance policies
identify and register Critical Data Elements and Authorized Data Sources
develop communication to guide, influence and convince others
provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business
assess risk when business decisions are made
ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
support team as mentor to new or lower-level analysts

Requirements:

6+ years of relevant experience
intermediate/advanced SQL skills
Python, Java, Visual Studio, Ab Initio, Data Lineage capture tools (i.e.: IBM Manta, Ab Initio mHub), or other development languages helpful
expertise in presenting and using planning tools
proven diplomatic and analytical skills
self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact
working knowledge of project management techniques/methods
experience in systems analysis helpful
