The Data Governance Specialist supports the implementation of data governance controls, standards, documentation and adoption activities. Requirements
Experience as a Data Governance Specialist
Experience supporting data ownership and stewardship
Experience with data quality and cataloguing activities
Experience with AI governance and responsible use controls
Experience driving governance awareness and reporting
Ability to build partnerships across business, IT, BI, SAP, digital, cybersecurity, finance, procurement, and vendor teams
Coaching data engineers, BI specialists, architects, and business teams on data architecture, governance, modeling, platform best practices, and cost-aware design
Identifying data duplication, system complexity, poor data quality, integration gaps, reporting inconsistencies, and cost inefficiencies
Experience with modern data platforms, cloud architecture, SaaS integration, automation, AI/ML-ready architecture, advanced analytics capabilities, and FinOps practices
Working across complex SAP, Microsoft, SaaS, cloud, and on-premise environments
Supporting governance workflows, ownership, stewardship, standards and action tracking
Coordinating metadata, definitions, lineage and catalogue information for priority domains
Tracking quality issues, owners, remediation actions and governance evidence
