Job Description:

Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Data Governance Senior Consultant in Toronto for a 6-month contract. The role involves relationship management, business management, and understanding requirements related to data governance.

Job Responsibility:

Relationship Management – Relationship manager and collaborative consultant with business partners for all matters relating to data governance
Business Management – Support the Data Governance team, work in a fast paced environment including the documentation and maintenance of materials that support the data governance implementation including procedure documents
Understand Requirements – Conduct analysis of processes and functional or reporting requirements to document, communicate the best practices to stakeholders

Requirements:

Financial institution experience
Data governance experience - 2+ years
Microsoft office suite// solid knowledge of excel
Presentation skills // STRONG communication
Relationship management

Nice to have:

Experience or working knowledge of workiva
Prior Business analyst experience (min 1 year)
DCAM (Data Management Capability Assessment Model) Certification
