Job Responsibility

Working with the Head of Business Partnering to develop a clear roadmap for data products aligned with business goals and user needs
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improvements to Softcat's vendor data
Master Data Management (MDM): Responsible for creating and maintaining a single, consistent and accurate source of truth for Softcat's critical vendor data
Data Quality Management: Responsible for the process of ensuring data is accurate, complete, consistent and timely
Responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorised access, breaches and cyberattacks
Work with the data leadership team to create and maintain a comprehensive data strategy for vendor data that aligns with Softcat's business goals

Minimum 12 years of experience in data governance, data management role, with a robust understanding of technology and dataflow/work streams specifically in Asset Management or Insurance Asset Manager
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
MBA or MS in similar degree field a plus

Job Responsibility

Work in support of the development of Aflac GI’s global data strategy, enabling timely and trusted data delivery through a scalable operating model (data lineage, provenance, & traceability)
Execute and advance global data strategy, providing strong leadership on all aspects of data lifecycle management (data demand, data mastering, data governance, data architecture and data provisioning)
Develop and advance data governance structures, create accountabilities and guiding policies, expand the data management scope beyond security master attributes
