Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and embed best-in-class data governance processes, frameworks, and expertise within Adaptfy, creating the foundation for SHV Holdings’ businesses
  • Consult and collaborate with SHV Holdings’ subsidiaries to help them establish, mature, and align their governance initiatives with Adaptfy’s methodologies
  • Interpret and operationalize data privacy and protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
  • Act as a bridge to build strong relationships and promote a shared governance vision across Adaptfy and SHV Holdings
  • Conduct governance maturity assessments and gap analyses, creating tailored roadmaps for SHV businesses
  • Develop, update, and promote group-wide policies and standards
  • Facilitate Data Governance Councils and collaborative working groups
  • Oversee data quality audits and provide remediation recommendations
  • Lead workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, Information Management, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Influence, negotiation, and project management skills to unify Adaptfy and SHV businesses

Nice to have:

  • Professional certifications such as DAMA CDMP, CIPP, or equivalent (highly valued)
  • Expertise in data modeling, architecture, metadata management, and master data management within complex organizations
  • Hands-on experience with leading governance and quality tools (Collibra, Informatica, Alation, IBM InfoSphere)
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Proficiency with SQL, data integration platforms, and BI/reporting tools (a plus)
