Job Description:

Senior level role managing a team responsible for facilitating all aspects of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy. Responsible for defining the enterprise data governance strategy and framework roadmap, including alignment with enterprise-wide data governance documentation.

Job Responsibility:

Full management responsibility for a team or multiple teams including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring
Oversee and drive strategic execution of significant data governance and risk programs
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to senior managers and their teams
Manage and lead Data Governance and Data Risk and Control policy, practices, and standards
Drive implementation of enterprise data governance framework including data quality standards and metadata management
Oversee KYC program initiatives ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory standards
Establish robust reporting mechanisms for senior leadership and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

15+ years relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services
8-10+ years managerial experience leading cross-functional teams
AML & KYC Operations Expertise with deep expertise in Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer operations
Understanding of global regulatory requirements (e.g., BSA, AML Act, FATF, FinCEN)
Experience developing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale KYC programs
Data Governance & Quality Acumen with experience designing enterprise-level data governance frameworks
Strategic mindset with ability to translate possibilities into breakthrough strategies
Excellent communication skills to negotiate internally at senior level
Experience leveraging change management processes to drive organizational change
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
Working knowledge of Citi's Data Operating Model

Nice to have:

Understanding of the overall regulatory environment
Previous experience working with regulators on data plan execution
