Job Description

The Data Adjustment Program GAI (Global Adjustment Inventory) Product Owner is a key position in Citi’s Enterprise Data Office (EDO) Data Adjustment & STP Program, within the Technology and Business Enablement function. The EDO organization is responsible for an enterprise-wide effort to transform and strengthen the firm’s data, modernize data infrastructure while simplifying the data operating model and executing the strategic priorities for the firm. The EDO defines and enforces data-related policies and standards across Citi and equips the firm with the tools required to take ownership and accountability for data governance and management. This role is responsible for defining and implementing the target state Enterprise Data Adjustment Program Data repository including data controls and governance. This role is also responsible for influencing Senior Management in the business, functions and technology to adopt the central Data repository as the firm’s central source for adjustment data.

Job Responsibility

  • Support and deliver the Enterprise Data Adjustment Program Data Repository
  • enhance the Enterprise Adjustment suite for reporting, analytics and AI capabilities including data dashboards, executive dashboards, regulatory reports, risk reports
  • provide strategic and operational direction and support to program and project delivery, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives, leading relationships with key stakeholders across multiple organizations and functions
  • oversee and maintain regulatory compliance for adjustment data across the enterprise with key focus in the Risk & Finance organization, assessing data governance needs, partnering with the business and other stakeholders
  • drive data quality, regulatory responses, risk management, and privacy to ensure data accuracy, security, and adherence to regulations
  • drive adjustment reporting stakeholder engagement across the enterprise
  • develop and build strong working partnerships and strategic relationships with key partners across the business and technology in aligning implementation and operational strategies

Requirements

  • Experience in an enterprise-wide or cross-functional role and ability to influence senior business level ensuring shared ownership of the Company’s overall Adjustment Data strategy and plan execution
  • strong understanding of the overall regulatory environment, Finance, Risk and Technology
  • demonstrate strategic leadership in delivering business value through vision, governance, and executive management
  • executive communication skills with an ability to describe complex topics in simple terms
  • ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment
  • sense of urgency, passion for results and personal accountability for achievement
  • ability to effectively drive and lead change in an organization with Citigroup’s size, scale, and complexity

  • 5+ years of experience
  • deep knowledge of Risk & Finance data, along with an understanding of regulatory, compliance and risk management
  • experience in large-scale, multi-year transformation and capability building efforts
  • deep working knowledge of reporting tools (Tableau or equivalent)
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision making
  • practitioner level experience with Agile
