Job Description:

The Data Governance Foundation Sr Lead Analyst is responsible for leading activities that contribute to the definition of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy, and plays a critical role in leading activities to support implementation of the Data Governance Policy/Data Risk and Control framework.

Job Responsibility:

Lead activities contributing to Enterprise Data Governance Strategy definition
Support implementation of Data Governance Policy/Data Risk and Control framework
Liaise with partners to establish policy adoption plans and compliance metrics
Lead business analysis and requirements gathering
Contribute to establishment of Data Governance standards
Support Data Transformation projects as Subject Matter Expert
Ensure roles and responsibilities related to data are understood and implemented
Manage lifecycle of metrics and report production
Assess risk and ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in Banking or Finance industry preferred
Experience in Data Governance/Data Management/Process Engineering or related area
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels
Working knowledge of Data Operating Model practices
Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Compliance within large financial services firms
Bachelor's/University degree (Master's degree preferred)
Organizational savvy with understanding of systems and management processes

Nice to have:

Master's degree
Change Management experience
Risk Identification and Assessment skills
Risk Remediation experience
