The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the organization's data governance strategy. This includes spearheading initiatives related to the definition of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, the Data Risk and Control Framework, the Data Risk Taxonomy, and the management of ERM Data Concerns. Furthermore, this position is critical in driving the implementation of the Data Governance Policy and Data Risk and Control Framework. Success in this role requires exceptional communication and negotiation skills, particularly at the senior leadership level. The Lead Analyst will leverage highly developed communication and diplomatic abilities to guide and influence stakeholders across various departments. This individual is directly accountable for delivering significant business results and providing authoritative advice on business operations.
Job Responsibility:
Drive comprehensive business analysis, encompassing the collection, analysis, review, documentation, and communication of critical business needs and requirements. Align these requirements with Enterprise Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Control standards to foster the development of appropriate and effective solutions
Contribute significantly to the establishment of Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Control standards, ensuring strict alignment with the Enterprise Chief Data Office's directives and meticulous documentation of all processes
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in data policies, providing critical support and guidance to key Data Transformation projects across the organization
Lead initiatives to clearly define and ensure consistent understanding and effective implementation of data-related roles and responsibilities across all business units
Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues to ensure the timely execution of project milestones, proactively identify and report potential delivery risks, and meticulously track and communicate milestone achievements and changes
Management of metrics and report production, from initial requirements capture and delivery plan development to final output and ongoing maintenance
Exercise sound judgment in assessing risk during business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and its assets. This includes ensuring strict compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to internal policies, demonstrating strong ethical judgment in all personal and business practices, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting control issues
Requirements:
6+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering or related area
Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives
