Job Description

We are looking for Data Governance & Data Strategy Consultant to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies, that e.g., support pilots, crew, and airline in planning the flights or various airport operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Data Strategy: Conduct maturity assessments and define the strategic roadmap
  • Governance: Design and deploy data governance frameworks
  • Data Management: Oversee the implementation of data dictionaries, data catalogs, and Data Quality processes
  • Functional scoping of projects
  • Involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of architecture solutions with business goals and requirements
  • Commits to producing relevant solutions, checks deliverables, makes decisions, optimizes delivery under their responsibility
  • Develops outline project approaches, detailed project plans and timeline
  • Provides expertise and promote a “Data‑Driven” mindset across business teams and executive leadership

Requirements

  • At least 10-15 years of experience in relevant field
  • Proven experience in data projects
  • General knowledge of Data/Data Governance topics and associated technologies
  • Good command of challenges, lead-times, budgets and quality for project delivery
  • Knowledge of the latest developments and future strategy for Data area
  • Previous experience of successfully managing large projects
  • Understands the functional and technical challenges of their scope
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Good knowledge of performance optimization and security management techniques
  • Good command of agility principles
  • Consultant mindset, excellent soft skills and experience in cooperation with stakeholders, clients
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • EU citizenship
  • Fluent English: B2/C1
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice
