Data Governance Compliance Risk Management Senior Officer

• Developing and implementing elements of the data compliance risk oversight program
• Developing systems and reporting to facilitate ongoing oversight and monitoring of data compliance risks
• Analyze controls, issues, data concerns and status of associated remediation and mitigation efforts
• Perform trend analysis for data compliance risks
• Establishing strategy and governance and oversight of best-in-class program
• Identifying and assessing Citi's key data compliance risks
• Ensuring appropriate governance and oversight to manage data compliance risks
• Supporting communication and alignment of the DCRO strategy
• Advise on development of strategic plan for use of data compliance within various critical programs
• Partnering, collaborating and working with other areas within Citi
• Acting as SME to senior stakeholders
• Assessing risk when business decisions are made
• Keeping abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations, internal policy changes

• Bachelor’s degree
• experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm
• Advanced degree preferred
• Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to guide, influence and negotiate with stakeholders
• Ability to navigate a complex organization and work both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated, team oriented, organized with high attention to detail
• Awareness of regulatory requirements including local and US laws, international and industry standards
• Excellent data analysis and organizational skills
• Capability to handle multiple projects at one time
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated knowledge in area of focus
