Job Description

Dutech Systems is seeking a highly experienced Data Governance Architect to support our public sector client in establishing and strengthening enterprise data governance practices. The selected candidate will lead the design of governance frameworks, data standards, metadata management solutions, and quality controls to ensure secure, compliant, and high-quality data across agency systems. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders in a public sector environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and implement enterprise data governance framework, policies, and standards
  • Establish metadata management, data lineage, and business glossary solutions
  • Define and monitor data quality rules and governance KPIs
  • Architect Master Data Management (MDM) and golden record strategies
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed governance into data platforms

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, or enterprise data management
  • Proven experience implementing enterprise data governance frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of metadata management, MDM, and data quality processes
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience working with State or Federal government agencies
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica, or similar governance tools
  • Familiarity with public sector compliance and security frameworks
