Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development
Monitor and control all phases of development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
Provide user and operational support on applications to business users
Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to analyze complex problems/issues and provide evaluation of business process
Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis
Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues
Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
Operate with limited level of direct supervision
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Act as SME to senior stakeholders
Assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

Intermediate/advanced SQL skills
Python, Java, COBOL, Visual Studio
5-8 years of leadership experience with focus on people management and team development
Proven background in business analytics including data management and governance, data security and compliance, data analysis and modeling
Strong interpersonal skills including facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution
Demonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning tools
Proven diplomatic and analytical skills
Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact
Experience in systems analysis
Experience with Agile Software Development Lifecycle methodology and related tooling (JIRA, Scrum, Kanban, Confluence)
Experience with specific data governance tools like Collibra or data catalogs
Knowledge of data warehousing and cloud technologies for managing and processing large data sets

Nice to have:
