The Data Governance Foundation Sr Analyst is responsible for contributing to the governance of data concerns, exceptions and issue management. Requires in-depth understanding of Data quality issues, Data Governance functions and impact assessment. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams.
Job Responsibility:
Facilitate the intake, accurate classification, escalation and tracking data concerns within enterprise systems
Manage data concerns within Banking and making sure Data concerns are remediated with in SLA by working with cross functional teams
Create, monitor and distribute Data concern metrics decks on monthly basis and report to Sr. management
Calculate SLA at each Data concern phase and create SLA breach report for distribution
Play a role of control operator for Data Control and End User computing (EUC)
Partner with business stakeholders to identify, analyze and document root cause and business impact of KRIs and KPIs
Work on the Exception Management Governance
Collaborate with and influence cross function teams to complete the assigned tasks
Apply good understanding of concepts and procedures within own business analysis area to resolve issues
Understanding of End User Reporting (EUC) and able to work with stakeholders to complete the required controls
Monitor alignment of processes across business, functions and lines of business to the Enterprise Data Governance Policy and standards to meet its specific requirements
Requirements:
4-6 years relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, incident management, risk management, data reporting analysis or a related function, preferably within the Banking industry
Strong analytical and project management skills
Strong communication skills and ability to influence and engage at multiple levels and cross functionality
Prior experience in systems or data analysis
Prior experience of data governance, meta data, exception management and Data quality rules
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience required
