We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support mission-critical applications for United States Air Force programs. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a structured, secure development environment. The position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and government systems to deliver accurate reports of government-owned materials and property. This role is ideal for a candidate who is content with long-term data entry and validation work.
Job Responsibility
Monitor daily transaction history between the US Government and client programs
Research rejected transactions, work toward resolution, and process correction transactions
Utilize internal tools (such as Ordinance Automation System & DPAS) to research and validate transactions, which may include issues, receipts, ownership transfers, and miscellaneous updates
Collaborate with program leads and engineers to enhance processes
Support data integrity, quality assurance, and compliance with project-specific security standards
Validate that transactions have been successfully processed and have received the correct documentation
Requirements
Education: A High School degree or GED is required
Experience: This is an entry to mid-level role. Previous data entry experience, especially with government systems, is highly preferred. A willingness to work extensively with data is necessary
General: U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for access to defense-related systems
Nice to have
Familiarity with database systems used in a government or aerospace/defense context
Experience in an aerospace/defense environment
Retired military personnel with similar data entry and systems experience are encouraged to apply
