Job Description:

Our plumbing client in San Marcos is looking for a dedicated Data Entry Specialist to handle their administrative records, update operational databases, and ensure information flows smoothly day-to-day. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and excited to contribute to a growing business in the plumbing industry!

Job Responsibility:

Accurately enter and update client records, invoices, and vendor transactions into the company database
process and verify service logs, time tracking, and inventory management details
collaborate with office staff to resolve discrepancies in service orders, billing records, or other documents
assist in preparing detailed reports for project managers and company leadership
maintain records of service calls, materials used, and contractor assignments in digital systems

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
additional coursework in administration or data entry is advantageous
2+ years of experience in data entry, recordkeeping, or administrative roles—plumbing or trade industry experience is strongly preferred
familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a significant perk
ability to manage time effectively while ensuring deadlines are consistently met
strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills

Nice to have:

Additional coursework in administration or data entry
plumbing or trade industry experience
familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software
