A well-established organization in Carlsbad is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support high-volume data management, reporting, and system accuracy. This role requires a higher level of analytical oversight than a standard data entry position, with responsibility for reviewing, validating, and maintaining critical business data. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of working independently while ensuring data integrity across multiple systems.
Job Responsibility:
Input, update, and maintain complex data sets across multiple systems
Review and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Identify and correct data discrepancies and errors
Perform regular audits of system data to ensure integrity
Support reporting needs by preparing and organizing datasets
Generate basic reports and assist with data analysis requests
Collaborate with operations, finance, and administrative teams
Assist with process improvements for data management workflows
Maintain documentation of data procedures and standards
Support system updates and data migration projects as needed
Requirements:
2–4 years of data entry, administrative, or operations support experience required
Experience working with large datasets strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills required (formulas, sorting, filtering, data validation)
Experience with ERP or database systems preferred
High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Ability to manage large volumes of data accurately
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and collaboration skills
