Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Entry Specialist to support our client on a critical project within their accounting department. This individual will play a key role entering data into QuickBooks online as they look to standardize the chart of accounts and ensuring accurate updates in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an important organizational initiative while leveraging your expertise.

Job Responsibility:

Extract, review, and update financial data from QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Support the consolidation of financial information
Accurately update and standardize the Chart of Accounts in QBO as directed by the Manager
Perform extensive data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Follow clear instructions to execute tedious and repetitive tasks independently
Work within defined timelines to meet project objectives

Requirements:

QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience – Basic proficiency is required
Basic accounting knowledge – A clear understanding of financial concepts and workflows at an operational or staff level
Strong data entry skills – Must be comfortable with high-volume, detail-oriented work
Proficient in navigating accounting systems and software
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions provided by the Manager
Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to identify discrepancies or errors
Adept at working independently with minimal supervision
