Data Entry Specialist

• Enter, update, and maintain large volumes of medical and billing data into the company’s database systems
• Cross-reference and verify data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Generate reports and summaries from databases for management and operational use
• Work closely with other team members to streamline data entry processes and ensure compliance with company protocols and HIPAA regulations
• Conduct regular data quality audits to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies
• Maintain organized digital files to ensure quick access for review, audits, or updates

• 2+ years of data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare or administrative environment
• Excellent typing and data entry accuracy (minimum of 50 WPM strongly preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, and experience with data management systems
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with acute attention to detail
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality practices preferred
• Ability to work independently in meeting deadlines while adhering to organizational standards
