Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Data Entry/Customer Service Representative to join our team in Carol Stream, Illinois. This is a contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your communication skills while providing exceptional support to customers. You will play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth order processing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Process and manage customer orders accurately using order entry systems
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline customer service processes and improve efficiency
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports and manage data effectively
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to build strong relationships and foster trust
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure order accuracy and resolve billing concerns
  • Monitor and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide solutions to customer complaints, ensuring a positive resolution and experience
  • Stay informed about company products and services to provide accurate information to customers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service roles, showcasing strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in order entry systems and familiarity with handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
