Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Portland, Maine. In this long-term contract position, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data, ensuring proper organization and accessibility. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

Enter and update data into systems with precision and efficiency
Organize and maintain electronic and physical files for easy access
Perform calculations and ensure accuracy in data processing
Scan, upload, and manage documents using relevant software
Respond to email correspondence promptly and professionally
Use Microsoft Word to format and edit documents as needed
Execute typing tasks with speed and accuracy
Provide courteous and effective customer service when interacting with stakeholders
Utilize 10-key skills to efficiently input numerical data
Ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and correcting errors

Requirements:

Proven experience in data entry or similar roles
Proficiency in 10-key typing with high accuracy
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and basic computer applications
Ability to organize files and manage documentation effectively
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with scanning and uploading processes
Strong communication skills, including effective email handling
Ability to perform basic calculations as part of data processing tasks
