We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves accurately managing and organizing information within company systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
Job Responsibility:
Input, update, and maintain various types of data in company databases and spreadsheets with precision
Verify and cross-check information to ensure accuracy and consistency across all records
Review original documents, such as invoices or applications, for potential errors before data entry
Retrieve and compile information as needed for audits, reports, or other business purposes
Safeguard sensitive data by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company security protocols
Perform regular backups to ensure the preservation and accessibility of critical information
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in data entry or a similar role
Proficiency in numeric and alphanumeric data entry with exceptional attention to detail
Strong typing skills and familiarity with computer-based entry systems
Ability to identify and correct errors in data before processing
Organizational skills to manage and prioritize large volumes of information
Basic knowledge of data security practices and protocols
Reliable and consistent work ethic suitable for long-term contractual commitments
