We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Charlottesville, Virginia. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations, including managing mail processing and performing accurate data entry. This position requires a high level of organization and precision to support essential business functions effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail to facilitate smooth communication and operations
Process inter-office mail efficiently and ensure timely delivery
Perform accurate data entry tasks related to deposits and loan payments within the company’s core system
Maintain organized records and ensure all transactions are documented properly
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the team’s workflow
Utilize computer systems and software tools to input and manage data effectively
Verify the accuracy of numeric and alphanumeric entries to ensure data integrity
Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Provide timely updates and reports on completed tasks to supervisors
Requirements:
Proven experience in data entry or a related administrative role
Proficiency in typing and numeric data entry with high accuracy
Familiarity with computer systems and data entry software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
