Job Description:

Join as a Data Entry Clerk in Shelton, WA to assist with finance-related data management tasks including accuracy of financial records, documentation review, data verification, and generating financial reports.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inputting, updating, and maintaining financial records with accuracy and efficiency in company databases and spreadsheets
  • analyzing financial documents, invoices, receipts, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • cross-referencing financial data to identify and correct discrepancies in reports, statements, and transactions
  • assisting team members with finance-related administrative tasks, including generating reports and creating summaries of financial data
  • ensuring data is managed in adherence to company and financial regulatory standards
  • maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information and documentation
  • collaborating with finance team members and other departments to clarify information and resolve data-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in data entry or an administrative role
  • background or familiarity with financial processes, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping
  • proficiency in data entry software, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), and database management
  • familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar programs) is a plus
  • exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing data
  • strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • associate’s degree or coursework in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred)
  • effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
