We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to join our financial services team in New Castle, Delaware. This role is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining sensitive financial and client information in internal systems and databases. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and able to manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Job Responsibility
Enter, update, and verify client, account, and transaction data in company databases and internal systems
Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company procedures
Maintain electronic and physical records in an organized and secure manner
Perform regular data audits and identify discrepancies for correction
Assist with processing financial documents, forms, and account-related paperwork
Support reporting functions by compiling and exporting data as needed
Respond to internal requests for information and documentation
Collaborate with operations, customer service, compliance, and accounting teams to ensure data accuracy
Scan, file, and organize records in accordance with retention policies
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and financial information
Perform other administrative support duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous data entry, administrative, banking, or financial services experience preferred
Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment
Nice to have
Experience working in a financial services, banking, lending, insurance, or investment environment
Familiarity with financial documents, account records, or transaction processing
Knowledge of compliance, recordkeeping, or data quality standards
