We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable temporary with potential for temporary-to-hire Data Entry Clerk to assist with the implementation and data conversion processes as we transition to a new system. This role will involve accurately entering, verifying, and converting data from the existing system to the new platform while ensuring data integrity and seamless migration. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong attention to detail, who enjoys problem-solving and helping organizations make a smooth transition to new systems.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately input and convert data from legacy systems into the new system
Ensure all data entries are correct, complete, and formatted in line with system requirements
Perform quality checks and verify the consistency of converted data
Maintain accurate records of data conversion progress and any issues that arise
Document all processes, including data transformation and migration steps, to ensure smooth handovers and compliance
Communicate effectively with other departments to address data discrepancies and ensure timely resolution
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or related qualification is a plus)
Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and other data entry tools
Familiarity with database management systems and data entry software
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
