Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-focused Data Entry Clerk to support an organization in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Contract position will play an important role in processing information accurately, applying sound judgment when reviewing records, and maintaining consistent productivity throughout the workday. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within established procedures, stays attentive to quality, and responds well to coaching and feedback.

Job Responsibility:

  • Enter, update, and verify large volumes of information in computer systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Review records carefully to identify inconsistencies, missing details, or formatting issues before finalizing entries
  • Apply careful judgment when handling data to ensure information is recorded correctly and in line with established standards
  • Maintain steady focus and productivity while completing repetitive processing tasks throughout the day
  • Follow documented procedures and quality guidelines to support consistent and reliable data handling
  • Incorporate feedback from supervisors and adjust work methods as needed to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Support workload fluctuations during the assignment and assist with priority processing needs as volumes change

Requirements:

  • Experience performing data entry in a detail-oriented office or administrative environment
  • Strong typing skills with the ability to enter numeric and text-based information accurately
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow step-by-step instructions consistently
  • Comfortable using computer-based systems and standard data entry tools for extended periods
  • Ability to remain focused on high-volume processing work for a full workday
  • Sound judgment when reviewing and entering information rather than relying only on rote input
  • Receptive to coaching, direction, and ongoing feedback in a team-oriented setting
