Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and efficient data processing for a non-profit organization based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately input and update numeric and text-based data into organizational systems and databases
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information during data entry processes
Perform routine checks to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
Organize and categorize information to ensure efficient retrieval and reporting
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and achieve organizational goals
Follow established procedures to ensure consistency and compliance in data management
Utilize computer software tools effectively to enhance productivity and accuracy
Provide regular updates and reports on data entry progress to supervisors
Assist with additional administrative tasks related to data management when needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in data entry, preferably within a non-profit or similar environment
Proficiency in typing with a high level of accuracy and speed
Familiarity with data entry software and tools, including spreadsheets and databases
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
