We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will handle various administrative and data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations. The position requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish and will be conducted in-office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately input and process data into the system, ensuring all entries are error-free
Create and manage tickets to address backlog issues
Organize and maintain files for easy retrieval and efficient record-keeping
Handle scanning and filing tasks to maintain an orderly workspace
Perform basic calculations and ensure numerical data is precise
Draft and reply to email correspondence professionally and promptly
Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to create and edit documents and spreadsheets
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
Apply 10-key typing skills for efficient and accurate data entry
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks within deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for document and spreadsheet management
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
Excellent organizational skills for managing files and records
Ability to perform basic calculations and use 10-key typing efficiently
Clear and effective communication skills for email correspondence
Familiarity with scanning and document filing processes
