Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Kent, Washington. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of real estate document processing, supporting the closing of sales. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in detail-oriented environments and are eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

Job Responsibility:

Review and prepare real estate documents, such as mortgages, deeds, and land contracts, for electronic submission
Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents to ensure compliance with county requirements and company protocols
Submit recording packages to the County Recorder’s Office electronically using Simplifile
Confirm recording fees, generate invoices, and address any discrepancies as needed
Correct errors in recorded packages and resubmit them promptly
Organize and return completed recording packages to the appropriate parties or individuals
Respond professionally to inquiries from lenders, agents, buyers, sellers, and team members regarding recording processes
Utilize software tools, including Simplifile, Resware, and other title and escrow systems, to complete tasks efficiently
Maintain meticulous attention to detail to prevent errors and ensure successful document processing

Requirements:

Proficiency in data entry with strong 10-key typing skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel for document management and calculations
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members and external parties
Strong organizational skills for handling files and ensuring proper documentation
Experience in email correspondence and customer service to address inquiries effectively
Capability to learn and use internal systems and industry-specific software
Exceptional attention to detail to prevent errors in document processing
