We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a long-term contract position that requires exceptional organizational skills and accuracy. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing data processes and ensuring seamless data entry and validation.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately input data into systems while maintaining high levels of precision
Review and cleanse data to ensure completeness and correctness
Assist with the migration of employee records from one payroll system to another
Validate imported data to ensure proper configuration and accuracy
Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to meet deadlines and maintain data integrity
Utilize Microsoft Excel to create formulas and manage datasets effectively
Perform routine audits to identify and resolve discrepancies
Organize and maintain electronic files for easy access and retrieval
Communicate with team members to provide updates and resolve data-related issues
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience in data entry or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and use formulas
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume tasks
Experience with system configuration and data cleansing processes
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work on-site in Irvine, California
Effective communication skills for team collaboration and issue resolution
Nice to have:
Familiarity with payroll systems and employee data management is a plus
