We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This position requires an individual with strong organizational skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks. You will play a key role in supporting financial operations and ensuring smooth processes within the department.
Job Responsibility:
Update records and generate reports for both union and management purposes
Input monthly remittance data into the system and process electronic reports with accuracy
Build, print, and mail self-pay letters while managing electronic deposits of payroll and payments
Utilize software tools such as Excel, Word, and Adobe for various tasks and reports
Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions as required
Support the annual audit process for health and welfare and retirement plans
Contribute to contractor audits and ensure compliance with standards
Perform general office duties assigned by management, providing flexibility and team support
Maintain precise data entry and ensure mathematical accuracy in all tasks
Collaborate effectively with the team while demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow
Requirements:
Proficiency in data entry and handling electronic reports
Familiarity with financial tools such as QuickBooks and spreadsheet software
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities without supervision
Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes is preferred
Detail-oriented with excellent mathematical and organizational skills
Prior experience in office settings, especially in the electrical industry, is a plus
Motivated team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
