We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to support accurate record management and day-to-day administrative operations in Anaheim, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling high-volume information, maintaining organized files, and ensuring data quality across internal systems. The person in this role will work closely with internal teams to keep records current, respond to information requests, and uphold confidentiality standards in all assigned tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Input, update, and maintain information across company databases and internal recordkeeping systems with a strong focus on accuracy
Examine records for missing details, inconsistencies, or errors and make timely corrections when needed
Compare data across sources to validate completeness and resolve discrepancies in a consistent manner
Organize and preserve both digital documents and physical files so information remains easy to retrieve and audit
Prepare routine and ad hoc reports to support operational needs and internal decision-making
Provide requested data and documentation to team members and departments in a timely and thorough manner
Follow established privacy, security, and data integrity practices when handling sensitive information
Support additional clerical and administrative activities as needed to help maintain efficient daily operations
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in data entry, clerical support, or a related administrative position
Strong typing skills with the ability to enter numeric and text-based information accurately
Demonstrated ability to work with computer-based data entry systems and standard office software
High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining precise records
Ability to identify errors, investigate inconsistencies, and correct data efficiently
Strong organizational skills for managing electronic files, paper records, and multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and the ability to respond effectively to internal information requests
