We are looking for an EXCEL-EXPERIENCED Data Entry Clerk to join a manufacturing company based in Conyers, Georgia. This contract position involves supporting a short-term project by accurately handling import/export data and ensuring compliance with tariff codes. The role requires a strong focus on detail and proficiency in Excel to maintain organized and efficient data management.
Job Responsibility:
Enter, update, and validate import/export data, ensuring accuracy in tariff codes and inventory details
Organize and manipulate large datasets using advanced Excel functions such as sorting, filtering, and formulas
Review and reconcile international documentation for import/export processes, collaborating with overseas teams when necessary
Assist in cleaning up and maintaining internal databases by clarifying material codes and related information
Support administrative tasks, including documentation updates and data validation
Contribute to resolving discrepancies in prior tariff-related cost records
Ensure compliance with organizational standards for data accuracy and reporting
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project goals
Requirements:
Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to use formulas and manage large spreadsheets
Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in data entry tasks
Familiarity with import/export documentation and tariff/country-of-origin data
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and external contacts
Nice to have:
Previous experience in logistics or supply chain support is preferred
