Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Elgin, Illinois. This role requires a focused individual who excels at organizing and managing electronic files, ensuring the accuracy of entered data, and maintaining consistency across platforms. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with data, this position is an excellent fit for you.

Job Responsibility:

Organize and manage electronic files to ensure seamless access and retrieval
accurately input numeric data into various systems and databases
utilize Microsoft Excel to process, clean, and manage data efficiently
convert and manipulate data from PDF documents as needed
double-check entries to ensure accuracy and consistency
collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies in information
maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data
perform periodic audits to verify the integrity of stored data

Requirements:

Proficiency in numeric data entry with high accuracy
strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management tasks
familiarity with working on PDF files for data extraction and conversion
exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
previous experience in a data entry or similar role is preferred
commitment to maintaining data security and confidentiality
