We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Wakefield, Massachusetts. In this role, you will assist with organizing financial records, ensuring bills are up to date, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy office environment.
Job Responsibility:
Contact vendors to confirm payments and resolve any discrepancies in charges
Create and maintain a list of bills, identifying which are set to autopay and which require manual processing
Organize and file documents, ensuring all records are accurately categorized
Shred outdated files and maintain a clean and orderly workspace
Use QuickBooks and Excel to input and update financial data
Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations
Assist in organizing the office to enhance workflow and efficiency
Collaborate with the team to ensure all tasks are completed within the designated timeframe
Requirements:
Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
Intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Excel
Exposure to QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Comfortable working in an environment with children and families
At least one year of experience in a similar role
Ability to work onsite in Wakefield, Massachusetts
Familiarity with basic office equipment and filing systems
