This Long-term Contract position focuses on accurately entering high volumes of financial information to support year-end close activities and improve record accuracy. Job Responsibility:
Enter journal entry information into designated systems with a high level of accuracy and speed
Support the finance team by processing large volumes of financial data tied to year-end close preparation
Review submitted entries for completeness and identify discrepancies before inputting records
Maintain organized documentation and ensure data is recorded in the proper format
Verify numeric information carefully to reduce errors and protect data integrity
Follow established procedures for data handling, record updates, and file maintenance
Communicate with team members regarding missing information, corrections, or clarification needs
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in data entry or a related administrative support role
Strong typing skills with the ability to enter data efficiently and accurately
Experience working with numeric data and maintaining precise financial records
High attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in large data sets
Proficiency with computer-based data entry systems and standard office software
Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a structured work environment
