We are looking for an experienced Data Entry Clerk to support data quality and product content operations for a contract assignment in the south metro, Minnesota area. This contract position focuses on maintaining accurate product information, improving online content, and delivering reporting that helps teams make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong research, analytical, and database skills, along with the ability to manage large volumes of information in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Maintain and enhance detailed product content across complex catalog categories to support accurate and effective online listings
Investigate, validate, and update specification records for a high volume of items while ensuring consistency across data sources
Write and refine search-optimized product and category copy for web use, and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of team-generated content
Prepare and distribute reports on content completion, data gaps, product enrichment progress, and sales-related performance metrics for stakeholders at multiple levels
Use Excel and database query tools to merge, analyze, and interpret information from multiple systems
Audit product data for inaccuracies or inconsistencies, correct issues, and load approved updates into the appropriate database
Assist with the ongoing performance of shared enterprise data systems by resolving data-related issues and supporting functional decisions
Verify promotional and printed product information to confirm accurate presentation, formatting, and supporting data
Requirements
At least 1+ years of experience working with databases, data entry, or large-volume record maintenance
Practical proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data management tools used to organize and evaluate complex information
Demonstrated ability in research, business content development, and written communication
Strong attention to detail with the editorial judgment needed to identify and correct content or data issues
Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to simplify complex information for clear business use
