Our company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk / Scanning Clerk to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling books, taking them out of boxes, and accurately scanning them for our digital records. Job Responsibility:
Remove books from boxes and prepare them for scanning
Operate scanning equipment to digitize materials with precision
Enter and verify data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
Organize files and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
Identify and resolve basic data discrepancies
Requirements:
Previous experience in data entry or scanning is preferred
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer usage
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to lift boxes and handle physical materials as needed
Previous experience in data entry is preferred but not required
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for basic data manipulation
Ability to handle repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
