Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Growth & P&L: Define and execute the Data & AI practice strategy, identifying new market opportunities and expanding capabilities. Lead business development, including pre-sales and solutioning. Manage practice P&L, focusing on revenue recognition and profitability
  • Deep Data & AI Expertise: Provide expert guidance in data engineering (architecture, warehousing, ETL/ELT, data lakes, pipelines, governance). Stay current with AI/ML, big data, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure data solutions
  • Innovation & Emerging Tech: Actively explore and champion cutting-edge data and AI, especially Agentic AI-based automation. Drive R&D to integrate new technologies and foster an innovation culture
  • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with vendors and industry groups. Collaborate on joint solutions and go-to-market strategies. Represent the company at industry events
  • Delivery Excellence: Accountable for the successful delivery of all Data & AI projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality execution. Implement robust project management and continuously improve delivery processes
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists. Foster a culture of learning and collaboration, implementing effective performance management

Requirements:

  • 20+ years in data engineering, significant time in leadership
  • Proven experience designing and managing large-scale modern architecture data platforms
  • Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts and business applications
  • Track record of managing revenue recognition and profitability
  • Exceptional skills in developing and managing strategic partnerships
  • Extensive experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Demonstrated interest and exposure to emerging AI, including Agentic AI and advanced automation
  • Proficiency in Spark, Databricks, databases (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query), ETL/ELT, and data Quality and governance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking
  • Bachelor's or master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus
