Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our growing data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You’ll collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure clean, consistent, and reliable data is readily available.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Build and optimize data models and architectures in cloud-based data platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions
  • Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Implement and enforce data governance, security, and best practices
  • Continuously improve performance and reliability of the data ecosystem

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role
  • Proficiency with SQL and experience with relational databases
  • Strong experience with Python or other programming languages used in data processing
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Spark, or Kafka is a plus
  • Experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data stack technologies

Nice to have:

  • Experience with data orchestration tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of data quality frameworks and observability tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex data solutions to non-technical stakeholders
