As a Data Engineer in our company, you’ll work closely with clients across industries to design and implement scalable data solutions tailored to their business needs. This role demands both technical expertise and soft skills, as you’ll be translating complex data requirements into actionable architectures and pipelines while engaging directly with stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Interact with client stakeholders to understand data requirements, map out existing systems, and recommend scalable data architecture solutions
Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools and frameworks
Deploy and manage cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) based on project requirements
Assist in building data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data streaming systems
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance requirements across engagements
Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer to client teams when needed
Support project planning, estimation, and reporting with delivery managers and consultants
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles, ideally in a consulting or client-facing environment
Strong SQL skills and experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Scala)
Proficiency with modern data tools such as: ETL/Workflow orchestration: Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, dbt
Data storage/warehousing: Azure Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift
Streaming: Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming
Experience designing and deploying solutions in cloud environments (preferably Azure)
Ability to quickly understand diverse business domains and adapt technical solutions accordingly
Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical client stakeholders
Experience working in agile, fast-paced project environments with shifting priorities
Willingness to occasionally travel to client sites or participate in on-site workshops (as required)
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Nice to have:
Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Big Data Specialty, or GCP Professional Data Engineer
Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Exposure to data privacy and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
Previous experience in sectors like finance, healthcare, retail, or manufacturing is a plus
DP-600 and/or DP-700 certification(-s)
Hand-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
