As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with various analytical and engineering teams to provide solutions for the company's data needs: improving data quality, governance, and performance; and designing tooling to ingest, transform, explore, and visualize data.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust Data Platform that collects, stores, and processes data, focusing on scalability and reliability
  • Work closely with Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts, and Software Engineers to develop self-serve data solutions for ingestion, transformation, visualization, and data protection, ensuring scalability to meet user needs
  • Employ DataOps practices to enhance data quality, governance, and operational efficiency across the platform
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability, ensuring seamless data flow across the platform

Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • 2+ years of experience working with Python
  • Experience in designing and implementing data platforms, including ETL frameworks and CI/CD strategies for data pipelines
  • Familiarity with Analytical Data Stores, including Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
  • Knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS, including Redshift, AWS Glue, and AWS Athena

Nice to have

  • Experience with container-based deployments using Kubernetes or Docker Compose
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka or other streaming platforms
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Background in incident management and response
  • Understanding of service observability principles and tools
