Join our international team and work closely with a US-based client on impactful, business-critical projects. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Vilnius team. In this role, you will work on a project for an AI-native enterprise technology company headquartered in US, with a global presence and several international offices. The company delivers solutions in digital transformation, intelligent automation, and data-driven platform development. This is a product-focused role, so we highly value a product mindset and an interest in building solutions that create real business impact. You will collaborate directly with the client’s team and contribute to impactful, business-critical initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibility:
Support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines for processing and moving data
Assist in building and improving ETL/ELT workflows for batch and streaming data
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to support modern data solutions
Help ensure data quality, reliability, and good system performance
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data-driven solutions
Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of existing data infrastructure and workflows
Gain hands-on experience with big data tools such as Spark, Databricks, or Kafka to process and analyze datasets
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role
Good knowledge of SQL and Python
Practical experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, or the Hadoop ecosystem
Understanding of data modeling principles and data pipeline concepts
Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow would be an advantage
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Upper-intermediate level of English
