Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Engineer with specialized knowledge in Microsoft Fabric to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about data architecture, transformation, and management within cutting-edge cloud environments. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data systems that support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Data Architecture Design: Build and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric’s powerful capabilities
ETL Development: Engineer end-to-end data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from diverse sources into structured data stores while maintaining data quality and integrity
Microsoft Fabric Expertise: Leverage Microsoft Fabric integration frameworks to connect, transform, and model data across platforms, enabling seamless collaboration and analytics
Collaboration: Partner closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver optimized solutions
Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks in data processing workflows while enhancing system performance and reliability
Analytics Enablement: Aid in the development of advanced dashboards, reports, and AI-driven insights by ensuring appropriate data structuring and modeling
Data Governance: Enforce data security, compliance, and governance practices in alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
Proven professional experience (3+ years) in a Data Engineering role, preferably within cloud-based environments
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric including its integration tools, Data Factory, and Lakehouse architecture
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Java)
Solid understanding of ETL pipelines, data modeling, and cloud-based data frameworks (Azure familiarity highly desired)
Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

Experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks in combination with Microsoft Fabric
Familiarity with machine learning data preparation workflows and AI tools
Certifications in Microsoft Azure Data Engineering or Microsoft Fabric
