This position is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications within Financial Crimes technology. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and documenting programs while supporting the application. The developer will work with business partners to define system application requirements and provide data-driven insights and direction throughout the development lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Develop complex requirements for applications in the Financial Crimes technology domain
Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and support application maintenance
Contribute to story refinement, define requirements, and estimate work for the delivery lifecycle
Set up and automate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Handle technical aspects of the application, including change management, maintenance, and platform upgrades
Build innovative data provisioning models to support large-scale financial crimes data sourcing initiatives
Collaborate with Data Analysts and Developers to ensure best practices and governance are followed
Analyze present-state systems, develop future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation
Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
10+ years of applicable experience
Experience in database-intensive development, data migrations, and conversions
Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment
Teradata 16.x
SQL/BTEQ scripting
TPT
Informatica 10.x
UNIX Shell scripting
Autosys
Cloudera CDP
Hadoop (Hive, Impala, PySpark, Scala)
Data analysis
Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible
