Job Description:

Data Engineer position requiring a candidate with Kubernetes and Data warehousing experience. The Key responsibility will be development, maintenance and migration of ETL components of Price Master Central / Holiday Master Central (PMC/HMC) systems. The PMC application is a global reference data management application responsible for sourcing securities/Pricing/Calendar data from market vendors and internal Citi sources.

Job Responsibility:

Development, maintenance and migration of ETL components of Price Master Central / Holiday Master Central systems
Work on ETL migration initiatives and building generic components
Work directly with global application development teams and Operations teams
Manage process streams assigned and work with Vendor teams
Perform unit testing with proper documentation
Engage in architecture definition of new processes
Provide on-going maintenance and L3 production support
Keep up to date with new technologies

Requirements:

5-8 years of experience
Data warehousing tools experience
CI/CD deployments experience
Working with relational databases
Strong SQL knowledge (RDBMS – Oracle Databases)
Experience in Utility setup leveraging Python
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with Cloud migration
Experience with ETL processes
Experience with Kafka
Experience with APIs
Experience with OpenShift Migration
Bachelor’s degree in computers, information technology or engineering

Nice to have:

Experience with OLAP databases like MySQL, Redshift
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Knowledge or experience in architectural best practices for building data lakes
