Job Description:

Permanent role in science & research category for a data engineer requiring strong technical skills in Python, Pyspark, Synapse, DataBricks, SQL, and data pipelines, with additional desirable skills in Azure, commodities operations, and automation testing tools.

Requirements:

Strong Python, Pyspark, Synapse, DataBricks or similar
SQL
Data Pipelines, Big Data, Data architectures
CI/CD and associated tools
Test automation, PyTest

Nice to have:

Experience in Azure/Cloud, App services, Azure functions, Cosmos DB and Synapse
Some understanding of operations or trading in the commodities context, in particular Oil, Gas, Shipping and related activities
Jenkins, Octopus, Git
DevOps
Docker
TDD and automation, Specflow, BDD
